HOW DO SESSIONS WORK?
Email to schedule your initial appointment or further treatment sessions. Your therapist will meet you in the location of your choice, ready with all the necessary tools and equipment. Initial assessments last 1 hour, while follow-up sessions last between 30 to 45 minutes, depending on what treatments are required.
ARE YOU COVERED BY INSURANCE?
Yes, in-home therapy is covered by insurance, and invoices will be provided. Check with your provider to see if they require a doctor's referral.
DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?
No, physiotherapist are primary care providers which means that no referrals are required. However, insurance companies will often ask for one before they will cover the costs of treatments.
ARE YOU COVERED BY OHIP OR WSIB?
No. Physio OnSite does not direct bill to these providers at this time.
DO YOU TREAT INJURIES SUSTAINED IN A MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT (MVA)?
Yes, I will treat MVA injuries. However, I do not provide direct billing to your auto insurance.
WHAT PRECAUTIONS ARE BEING TAKEN DUE TO COVID-19?
To reduce the risk of exposure to COVID, your therapist will be wearing a face mask throughout treatments and will be performing hand hygiene. COVID screening questionnaires will be completed before sessions, and all equipment will be thoroughly disinfected before and after appointments.
